A Cocktail Bar in Downtown St. Catharines

St. Catharines has a lot of good places to go out. There are bars that have been around for decades, spots attached to restaurants, places with great patios and cold beer. It’s no secret the downtown core has some really incredible options.

Wandering Spirits is a little different from most of them, mainly because cocktails are the focus. Not in a precious way — just in the sense that the drinks are thought about, the menu is kept approachable, and the room is set up for people who want to sit down and actually enjoy what they ordered.

It came out of a pretty simple observation. There wasn't really a place in town that sat between the high-end cocktail experience and the casual bar. Something comfortable, consistent, and easy to walk into on a regular basis. That's what we were going for when we opened, and it's still what we're going for now.

We're downtown, easy to find, and walk-ins are always welcome. People come in for one drink after work. People come in on Friday nights with a group. Both feel equally normal here, which is kind of the point.
